Welcome to My Detroit Lions Website
This website is all about the Detroit Lions, the NFL team that plays its home games right in downtown Detroit at Ford Field. My goal with this project is to give new fans a quick and easy way to learn about the team. When someone visits this site they can read about the history of the franchise, a few of the most important players, and what it is like to actually attend a game in person. I picked the Lions as my topic because they are the local team, and even when they struggle the fan base stays loyal and hopeful for the future.
On this homepage, you can get a basic idea of what the website offers and how to move around it. The navigation links at the top take you to three different pages with more details. One page is focused on the history of the team, another talks about some well-known players, and the last page walks through the game day experience at Ford Field. By the time you finish visiting each page, you should have a better understanding of why the Lions matter to the city and why their fans keep showing up every season.
